Congratulations! 🎁🎉🎈You’ve been given a portrait commission gift package! Now it’s your turn to be immortalized as a custom work of art. Here is a quick overview of how the process works:

How this works:

  1. You may choose between a mono-print OR an ink and watercolor illustration. If you’d like to see some examples of my work in either of these media, check out these digital galleries:

  2. Once you’ve decided on the media, I’d like you to gather a few reference photos you’d like me to work from. They don’t have to be anything fancy - snapshots, instagram photos or old family album photos all work.

  3. Reply back to the email you received informing you of your gift and include the following:

    • Attachments of your reference images

    • Tell me about any preferences you have for how you’d like to be portrayed in your portrait, you can give as much or as little detail as you feel like. Remember, this is all about YOU, and I want you to be happy with the final product.

    • Confirm your shipping address for delivery of the portrait once it’s completed.

  4. Once I’ve received everything, I will follow up within 2 business days to confirm a fulfillment slot (usually 2-4 weeks depending on my current project pipeline) and I’ll let you know if I have any follow-up questions.

Terms and Conditions:

Fulfillment:

  • You will have 12 months from the date of purchase to redeem your gift portrait. After 12 months have passed, the gift commission will not be redeemable.

  • Once reference images have been received, I will set a fulfillment slot based on my current pipeline of work. Usually I can get a new project started within 2-4 weeks.

  • Once work has begun, the project will be finished and shipped within 2 weeks.

Image Usage:

  • The recipient will have full rights to use and distribute their portrait for personal use physically and digitally.

    • Personal use is defined as any private or public non-commercial display in which the image is not being used for profit or promotion of any individual or organization other than the artist.

      • Use of the images for personal social media, family albums, physical home or office display are all considered personal use.

  • Any commercial use of the image will be subject to entering into a licensing agreement with the artist.

    • Commercial use is defined as any display, reproduction or other representation of the image, physical or digital, used in a way that generates money, promotes any commercial, political or public interest, or any display of the image that can be linked to financial/professional gain for any individual or organization other than the artist.

  • The artist retains copyright to the image with the ability to publish and reproduce both physically and digitally unless a specific agreement is otherwise made between the recipient and the artist .
